OBITUARY
Mrs. James P. Smallman

The death occurred at the Smallman Homestead in Knutsford on Thursday, March 15th, of Mrs. James P. Smallman following an illness of over one year's duration.

The deceased was the former Ellen Horne of Bloomfield, daughter of the late Sarah Gavin and Robert H. Horne of Bloomfield, formerly of Glasgow, Scotland.

She was a Christian woman of many fine traits, of a kind and useful personality and will long be remembered by her loved ones, friends and neighbors. The atmosphere of her home life was beautifully marked by tenderness, courtesy and consideration for others. She was a faithful member of the Knutsford Baptist Church, a life member of the Baptist Women's Missionary Society also an honorary member of the Knutsford Women's Institute.

She will be greatly missed in her home, where her children and her grandchildren were always made welcome and especially by those in the home who so tenderly cared for her in her declining years and did everything humanly possible for her comfort.
In her passing, she leaves to those left behind, a memory of a long life, well lived and ready her Lord's:
"Well Done, Thou Good and Faithful Servant".
