"On Thursday June 30 1910 Allen Stewart, youngest son of Mr. & Mrs. A. H. Hammond was called to rest, at the age of nearly 4 years, after an illness of only a few hours. Interment took place on Saturday at the Presbyterian cemetery, Fraserburg the service being conducted by Rev. Mr. Gandin of Uffington. Stewart was a bright little fellow and his sudden death has proved a great shock to his parents for whom much sympathy is felt." (Stewart died from sunstroke)
