Duncan H. and Minerva Gavin

Duncan Gavin was the seventh and youngest son (eleventh child) of Matthew Gavin and Marion Park. He was born in Prince Edward Island in 1871. He is with his parents in the 1881 census for PEI. He went with them to Pembina County, North Dakota in 1881. It is presumed that he grew up in Pembina County; however, we don't find him until 1900 in the US census records when he is married to Minerva Staples (source: death records) who had been born in Canada.
