The announcement of the death of Mrs. Rob't Love, of Creeford, Man., was received here last week. The deceased was suffering from an atack of la grippe but was no worse than usual when on Tuesday, March 5, while speaking to her husband, she fell from her chair and died instantly. The deceased, whose maiden namee was Sloan Scott Christina Gavin, born at Girven, Scotland in 1841, and was brought by her parents to Canada in 1842 settling in the township of Dalhousie, county of Lanark, Ontario. In 1863 she married Robert Love and continued to reside in Lanark until 1892 when they removed to Manitoba. She was the mother of twelve children, ten of whom survive:

The deceased has been a life-long member of the Presbyterian Church and will be much missed. A large number followed her remains to the Madford Cemetery.
